SMS alert feature added to Client's area

Since the launch of the Client's area nine months ago the most requested feature was by far the ability to receive SMS alerts when a support ticket was progressed. Today we are happy to announce the feature has gone live, and in the few hours since launch it has a 100% take-up rate.

Please remember to add your mobile number here before using it.

For the interested among you, since going live last June the Client's area now handles over 14% of all of our support correspondence (and rising) and 30 of our clients are believed to use it exclusively. To see what the fuss is about log in via the tool on the right, or see this page for help.

New cleaning management system in development

TMS Insight's Hotel Services System is being rewritten (and rebranded and renamed!).
Due to overwhelmingly positive feedback from our latest products we are moving more of our data capture solutions to web-based platforms, and the new HSS is no exception. This means we can offer all of the current systems cleaning contract management and evaluation functionality with a much more user friendly interface, and of course on an inherently networkable platform.
This new product will be offered free of charge to current HSS support contract holders, with pricing for new customers TBA. Coming in Spring 2010.

Client's area updated

In response to feedback and commentary, the following changes have been made to the clients area:

All of our contacts have now been registered automatically and new contacts no longer need to register at all (more info at the How do I register page.)
You can now view tickets that have been resolved (for reference etc.)
You can now request new tickets directly from the clients area
You can now close/resolve tickets yourself
Internet Explorer 6 now supported (although limited)

We hope you enjoy this update and the newer ones as they go live (such as further improvements to our IE6 support) and would like to thank our users whose feedback got us here and our users in general for taking so well to the client's area. If you would like to suggest something new for a later update please feel free to do so in the forum.
