As alluded to previously, the long awaited update to the veteran Comms 5 software has been released, and is available now in the Downloads & Updates section.
We're also lifting the lid on the two major new features for the first time and they are:
- Automatic posting of your scanner data to Clarity or other remote database no matter where you are, and without even opening your web browser
- Support for USB cable based scanner downloading, meaning no more Infrared adapters (for most of you)
Of course, these are in addition to these previously announced improvements:
- Numerous bug and stability fixes
- Improved support for newer versions of Windows
- Runs quietly in the background
- Support for newer barcode readers and cradles
