TMS Insight's Prescription Tracking System has been totally rewritten. It still offers an efficient methodology to monitor a prescription’s progress through the dispensing process using barcodes. The latest incarnation takes on board all of the feedback we have had from our customers making the system even easier to use yet offering greater flexibility.

As before the recording of data is virtually overhead free and ensures that all of the required stages are carried out. However, the new design makes managing the pharmacy extremely easy with graphical displays showing what stages all of your prescriptions are at and what tasks pharmacy staff are currently working on.

The new version is still web-based meaning the sharing of a prescription's progress with all staff is simple thus avoiding time consuming progressing calls.

The system also produces tickets for your patients and directs them to the Outpatients report screen, which can be displayed almost anywhere, to inform them when their prescription is ready. The new Outpatients report screen also reads out each prescription as it becomes ready for collection. Full details are included on the other pages in this section.
