Comms 6 had a minor update today. Simply redownload it from the Downloads & Updates section to update.

Whilst it is not our policy to push out two updates within a week we have addressed a very minor issue with another small update today. If the application is not correctly detecting your hardware you may download the updated version from the Downloads & Updates section.

Also FYI further updates will be published separately rather than simply replacing the download file (these were quick patches to fix minor issues).

Hi Marc,
Is that this file
PTS Comms Client Installer (V4.1)?
Is it recommended to install this for use with pts v4?

Hi Anthony. Nope, Comms 6 isn't PTS related, it's the comms package for some of our other software. If you have a PTS support contract you won't see Comms 6 in the downloads section.

But to answer your question I don't think the comms software changed that much between PTS3 & PTS4 so it may not be strictly necessary to update that part of the system, but as with everything else it never hurts to have the latest version of the software and it should definitely be the first thing you do if you encounter problems with the existing version.
